Welcome to the Seafair. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Seafair mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.
The Seafair is set to enrapture festival lovers once again. Our venue will leave you fascinated, captivated and enthralled. With performances ranging from classic to contemporary, traditional to avant-garde, each act will inspire you to greater heights.
Seafair Seafair is one of America's biggest community festivals. A maritime event which began in 1950, this almighty fair has been filling the streets, the sky and waters of Seattle each year with parades, planes and a whole fleet of objects, from boats made out of milk cartons to racing hydroplanes.
For over 60 years Seafair has entertained local residents and visitors as the region's largest summertime celebration. Deprived of direct sunlight for many months, Seafair is the Northwest's excuse to burst outside like children on the last day of school and release energy at one of the many fantastic Seafair events.
